UNITE have become a Theatric Award certified studio, meaning that all students have access to their wonderful examinations in:

Exams run from entry-level through to grade 8. Theatric Awards is for everyone and students can develop huge rewards and develop their creativity through a progression. If students are too nervous to do face to face examinations they have a platform for students to send pre recorded work.

THE DANG THEATRE AND DANCE SYLLABUS
We are proud to be providing THE DANG Theatre and Dance syllabus to students.
Musical Theatre
The solo graded examinations consist of a series of tasks: Solo song, acting presentation, dance arrangement and a Viva Voce.As the grades progress the complexities of these tasks increases to build on developing not only a portfolio of material but also a wider understanding of musical theatre history, character development and a diverse range of styles that encompass the musical theatre genre.
The Street and Commercial Syllabus is validated by RSL Awards and Ofqual registered. It provides a unique progressive training structure in a range of genres encompassed within the Street and Commercial style. The syllabus will provide a safe and structured pathway for students to gain the necessary technical and performance skills to become a well-rounded, versatile and confident performer with opportunities to develop creative skills and individuality. The work is designed to prepare students for college auditions and professional employment.
Styles contained with the syllabus include: Hip-Hop, Commercial, Lyrical Hip-Hop/Contemporary Street. Unique to the The Dang syllabus is the opportunity to specialise in Locking, Breaking, House and Popping in each grade in addition to the set material.
ACROBATICS ARTS
The Acrobatic Arts program provides easy progressions for Acrobatics students to follow and progress in. Acrobatic Arts starts at the very beginning, where we teach students everything they need to know about proper placement and technique and more. Acrobatic Arts Exams encourages and helps students with their continuous journey and support in progression. Students can excel through Primary to professional level.
LAMDA EXAMINATIONS
UNITE has a success of a 100% examination pass rate with LAMDA. Miss Maria gained all her LAMDA qualifications at just 14 years of age and has been part of the LAMDA Musical Theatre syllabus rewrite in recent years, so you know your child is getting the very best.
Exams run from entry-level through to grade 8, in different dramatic genres. LAMDA is for everyone. Gain confidence, learn new skills, be proud of your hard work. LAMDA Exams gain UCAS points.
RAMBERT GRADES
Rambert Grades is a pioneering contemporary dance syllabus born from the partnership between two of the world’s leading contemporary dance organisations: Rambert and Rambert School.
Across eleven grades, the syllabus offers students the opportunity to develop lifelong skills. Rambert Grades encourages young people to own their individuality, be playful, work in a present manner, think independently, relate with others and have confidence in decision making while learning and embodying our three strands, Technique, Performance and Creative. The Rambert Grades syllabus is progressive and inclusive and is designed to be accessible for people from all backgrounds.
Rambert Grades teachers are taught to promote a safe environment where physical explorations can exist without rigidity, yet with focus, discipline and collaboration. Students are seen as individuals and encouraged to express their ideas and discover their unique voices.
Each grade includes exploring how to create material and improvise, learning all elements of technical skill to the highest standard, from floorwork to complex leaps, and performing solo material from renowned choreographers, Hofesh Shechter and Alesandra Seutin.
Rambert Grades is an awarding organisation recognised by Ofqual.
UNITE PRIZE GIVING - PROVIDING TOOLS TO SUCCEED
Prizegiving is held at the end of each summer term to acknowledge and commend the student's work and progression through the year. Our faculty choose the students into the following categories: TROPHIES: UNITE Stage Academy Scholarship Award: This prize is given to the student who has astounded our faculty throughout the year. The award itself provides 20% off the winner's school fees for the coming year. Overall Achievement Award: This prize is given to the students who have progressed in every sector of performing arts through the year - given to one student from each of the companies.
CERTIFICATES AND ROSETTES: Most Improved Award: This is given to students in each of the different classes and companies in each of the following subjects- Singing - Acting and Dancing.
